International Gay & Lesbian Review

Information for Publishers and Individuals Wishing to Provide Newly Released Materials for Inclusion in the Review

The editor of International Gay & Lesbian Review (IGLR) encourages publishers to provide a review copy of their books in print and other appropriate materials for inclusion in IGLR. The editor has established a core group of reviewers composed of USC faculty, graduate students and affiliated scholars of ONE Institute’s Center for Advanced Studies. IGLR seeks to abstract and/or review as many newly published books (both non-fiction and fiction), videos, films, and other materials whose content has a significant focus on any subject relating to female or male homosexuality, bisexuality, transgender or sexual variance subjects.

IGLR also wishes to include abstracts and reviews of unpublished Ph.D. dissertations and Master’s theses on these subjects (authors should provide us with a high quality copy which will be added to ONE National Gay and Lesbian Archives collection after being reviewed).

As new materials are received, a bibliographic record and abstract — a summary from the book’s cover or introduction — are added to the Author, Title, and Recent Postings lists. Reviews are added to the bibliographic record when completed. By adding the bibliographic record, we hope to enable regular readers of the IGLR to stay informed about new materials in the field.
